• Bank C bass bankEight classic factory bass voices, recreated parameter by parameter: Elec Bass 1 (C-9), Sqncr Bass (C-10), Syn Funk Bas (C-11), Elec Bass 2 (C-12), Analog Bas (C-13), Jaco Bass (C-14), Lately Bass (C-15), Monoph Bass (C-16). Operator waveforms, frequency ratios, total levels, envelope rates, and per-op velocity values match the original voicing.
• Authentic YM2414 (OPZ) engineSame chip variant as the original hardware. All eight OPZ waveforms, the reverb-stage envelope quirk, and the authentic per-operator key-velocity-scaling curve that gives these basses their signature dynamic behavior. Presets load as direct voice-edit structures, matching a hardware recall.
• 8 FM algorithms, overrideableEach preset loads its factory algorithm, but Algorithm can be reassigned per patch (1–8) to rebuild the modulator/carrier topology and push presets into new tonal territory.
• Performance macrosFour offset knobs (Growl, Bright, Attack, Release) that ride on top of each preset's internal values instead of overwriting them. Bright +30 brightens whichever preset you're on by the same amount relative to its own starting point, so the macros stay musical across all eight patches.

Signature pre-delay parameter (0–35 ms) for the wide, three-dimensional stereo image that's key to the sound. All chorus parameters update per-sample to avoid zipper noise during automation.
• Tube driveGentle asymmetric saturation between the chorus and the tone stage. Even-harmonic warmth and low-end weight without the buzzy edges of hard clipping. Pairs naturally with a Bass shelf boost for fuller bottom end.
• Clean shelf EQClassic 1st-order shelves: Bass at 120 Hz, Treble at 3500 Hz, ±12 dB each. No resonant peaking, just a natural tonal shift that complements the FM harmonic stack.
• Velocity depth controlGlobal scalar over the authentic hardware velocity curve. Preserves each preset's internal velocity character (the "OP4 bites, OP1 holds steady" behavior of Lately Bass) while giving you one knob to tame or exaggerate the overall response, useful for late-night or softer-touch playing at lower settings.
• Mono/poly with glidePortamento glide (0–500 ms) active in mono mode, clean voice allocation in poly. Configurable pitch bend range 0–12 semitones for subtle vibrato or full octave bends.
