Rave Generation is the audio software brand and label of Dutch producer Re-Style. Every plugin starts in his own studio, as something he needed for his own tracks, long before it becomes a product.
Two worlds, one studio
The music came first. He was producing his own tracks by 1997, and by 1998 he was in the tracker scene, a community where producers shared their work openly and learned by taking each other's tracks apart. He ran his own tracker label there until 2000, the year he took the name Re-Style.
Code started in the same place, in 1999, with the website for that label. It stayed in the background for over two decades while the music went to festivals, and it ended up building the tools he uses on his own tracks.
Rave Generation is what happens when those tools leave the studio.
What we make
From Rave Station 2 and VA-1000 to Filterbank, Sonic Sweep 2 and BDX-909, every Rave Generation plugin is built around one question: does it make the track better, fast? Sound first, no filler. Rooted in the harder styles of electronic music, made for anyone who wants their sound to hit.
The label
Rave Generation is also a label, featuring releases by artists such as Charly Lownoise, Korsakoff, Dune and DJ Konik, alongside Re-Style's own music.

About Re-Style
Re-Style has firmly established himself as a visionary and innovator in the harder styles music scene. With a career spanning decades, he has significantly shaped the global harder styles landscape through his groundbreaking productions and electrifying performances. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Re-Style discovered his passion for music at a young age. By 1995, at just nine years old, he was already experimenting with a turntable, keyboard, cassette deck, and VHS tape, crafting his first musical creations.
By 1997, Re-Style was using software to make music, starting with Magix Music Maker 3.0. At the age of 12, he was producing his own tracks, drawing inspiration from early hardcore and old-school sounds. His journey began in 1998 in the tracker scene, a tight-knit open-source sharing platform for music modules. From 1998 to 2000, he even set up a tracker label. In 2000, adopting the name Re-Style marked the evolution of hardcore towards a more serious and technically advanced sound.
Re-Style's dedication and talent quickly led to numerous performance opportunities at the most prestigious electronic music festivals worldwide, including Decibel Outdoor Festival, Defqon.1, Tomorrowland, Thunderdome, Intents Festival, and Nature One. His performances are celebrated for their high energy and ability to captivate audiences.
His music is characterized by its accessible style and significant contributions to the evolution of modern harder styles. Re-Style’s anthems for events and festivals resonate deeply with fans, showcasing his ability to blend powerful beats with melodic elements. Notable tracks include 'Get It Crackin', 'One Last Dance', 'Feel Alive', 'City Streets', 'Leap of Faith', 'Wildfire', and 'Shadow World'.
Re-Style's remix work highlights his versatility as a producer, with acclaimed remixes of 90s classics for artists such as 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor, Paul Elstak, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, and Dune. His ability to breathe new life into these classics while maintaining their original essence demonstrates his profound understanding of the genre's roots and its future potential.
In recent years, Re-Style has continued to innovate within the genre, incorporating elements from Early Hardcore, Frenchcore, and Techno, pushing the boundaries of harder styles music. As the creator of the labels Rave Generation and Rapture, he demonstrates his commitment to fostering new talent and furthering the genre's development.
